Last year we had over 700 volunteers serve across 34 neighborhoods to pick up 146+ tons of trash & debris from the streets of Dayton. Will you join us for this year’s clean up? FAQ:
Can I select the neighbor where I want to serve?
Yes, when you register on Eventbrite you will have an option to choose your neighborhood or go to the area most needed
Can I register more than one person?
You will need to submit a separate registration for each additional person. If you are registering a large group let us know at livingcityproject@declare.org and we will get you registered.
Where do I go on the day of the cleanup?
You will receive an email with your neighborhood host site location in advance of the cleanup.
What time should I arrive?
Check in is from 8:30am to 9am. The cleanup will begin at 9am and conclude at noon.
Do I need to bring my own supplies?
Supplies are limited so we encourage bringing supplies like rakes, gloves, trash picker and bag to ensure you have enough, however each group will have supplies allocated to them.
Will there be food?
Once the cleanup is over, we invite you to join us at one of the afterparty locations for lunch from noon until 1pm.

2025 Special Thanks
What a time we had as a community last year April 26th, 2025. We would like to thank everyone who helped make this possible. We had over 700 participants gathered in 34 different neighborhoods in Dayton for the Living City Project Citywide Clean Up.
