Worship Events
The Canopy: Stories of Restoration- The Clark County Prayer Canopy will be hosting a prayer and worship night on April 11th from 7-9pm at 102 W. High Street, Third floor, Springfield, OH 45502. There will be leaders from seven sectors of our city (city government, education, mental health, first responders, family, immigration, and the Church) give a 3-minute update on how God is moving in these areas and how we can pray for them, and then a prayer leader will pray over that leader and their sector of our city. Worship will be led by church worship teams leading us in songs and hymns between each prayer segment.
Holy Week 2025- You are invited to join the West Dayton Caravan of Churches for Holy Week 2025 as we commemorate the “Journey to the Cross.” The schedule is as follows:

Abide- Abide is a time when worship and prayer leaders’ partner with the Holy Spirit to provide a space and time for people to encounter God for a long stretch of time. Abide is two hours, and open throughout – meaning you can come and go as you please. Every Saturday from 7 to 9pm at Dayton SHOP (212 S. Ludlow St. Dayton, Ohio.)
Prayer Events
Dayton SHOP Lunchtime Prayer Sets- An open space of prayer and worship where you can come during your lunch break to experience the Lord. Let him into your work week by visiting the prayer room or watching the livestream on Facebook. Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from noon to 1pm at 212 S. Ludlow St Dayton, OH.
The Meeting Ground- Held on the last Friday of each month, this is a coming together of the Body of Christ to simply Encounter Jesus! Come with great expectation to receive whatever you need from the Lord! Healing, deliverance, the filling of Holy Spirit, breakthrough, FREEDOM, you find it in the presence of our Savior! Join us on Friday the 25th @ 6:30 pm at the Marriott by the University of Dayton.

Discipleship Opportunities
Thrive Together Nights- Thrive Together is a holistic approach towards addressing poverty where participants feel empowered, experience community, and find hope. We offer job readiness and leadership training, opportunities to try new things, fun activities and field trips for the kids, and support and encouragement through community.
Thrive Together meets at Fairhaven’s Centerville Campus (637 E. Whipp Rd Centerville, OH 45459) on Tuesdays from 5:45-8:00 PM for a home-cooked dinner and a time of community where we have fun learning new skills.
Childcare and children’s programs are available.
It Is Written: Student Apologetics Conference- Join students from all over the area for this 2-day conference to explore why we affirm that Christianity best explains the world as it is. At this year’s conference, we’ll meet the challenges raised against God’s Word, answer the critics and respond to attacks. We’ll build a foundation for why we can trust the Bible. The confidence of Jesus can be ours as we respond to the world’s challenge when we declare, “it is written.” Friday April 25th starting at 6pm (doors open at 5:15pm) and Saturday April 26th from 8-4:30pm (doors open at 7:30am) at Christian Life Center (3489 Little York Rd. Serving/Outreach Opportunities
Living City Project/Rebuilding Together Day- Save the date for the Living City Project on Saturday April 26th. Last year over 800 volunteers cleaned up 32 different neighborhoods removing over 137 tons of trash and debris from the streets of Dayton during the Living City Project. We are excited to announce that this year we will be partnering with Rebuilding Together Dayton. Rebuilding Together is a national organization that provides critical home repairs and accessibility modifications to low-income senior homeowners at no cost. Every year on the last Saturday in April they host The National Rebuilding Together Day where they invite the local community to join them in their efforts. So whether you are looking to serve the community through a citywide clean up, home repairs, or making a home more accessible for a senior neighbor, this partnership has you and your organization covered!
R.I.S.E AGAIN!- Come join this annual Suicide Prevention and Gun Safety Rally as this year will mark the 3rd and final rally. Their theme this year is R.I.S.E AGAIN! Receive, Intervene, Support, Educate. The focus will be to hear stories of hope from those who used the resources that are available to them in our community and became victorious over suicide and to promote gun safety. They wish to empower parents, teachers, students and families with knowledge and skills to prevent suicide and promote gun safety. Last year they had to close registration due to an overwhelming response so please act quickly. Together we will R.I.S.E AGAIN! in our community to help prevent suicide. This event will be held at the Levitt Pavilion (134 S. Main St, Dayton, OH) from 11-2pm on May 3rd, if the weather does not permit, the event will be resumed on May 4th at the same time. Breakthrough is for Practitioners of Mental Health Soul Care, Wellness, and Recovery as well as congregational leaders and advocates who wants the Church to be a place of healing, hope, and breakthrough for all. Workshops and Community Gathering
Community Movie Night (The Forge)-Join us on Friday April 11th from 5-9pm at Trotwood Goodwill (735 E. Main St. Trotwood, OH 45426) for a FREE night of positive family and community engagement, as we watch and discuss The Forge and its transformative impact on men in their families, churches, and communities. Dinner and childcare provided. Snacks on sale to support athletes from Dayton Wolverine Track Club.
A Staged Reding of Saving Cinderella- Saving Cinderella is a sequel to the original fairytale that melds all-ages storytelling with deep insights into the journey out of poverty: whether that be financial lack or the struggles we encounter all too often in this broken world.
Now, Saving Cinderella is headed to New York City for an industry reading, but YOU have the unique opportunity to see this work first at A Staged Reading of Saving Cinderella May 30th at 8pm, May 31st at 2pm and 8pm, or June 1st at 2pm at Springboro Performing Arts Center (115 Wright Station Way Springboro, OH 45066). Presented in partnership with Springboro Community Theatre. Told in traditional fairytale style with an underpinning of reality, Saving Cinderella is a beautiful, meaningful work of art suitable for the whole family. Tickets are donation only and support getting this work to NYC and then empowering the show’s Lived Experience Consultants (who are currently living under the poverty line) to attend the NYC reading. Breathe Women’s Conference- We are so excited for the 2025 Women’s Conference hosted by Living Word Church! As we gather to worship, pray, and seek God, we expect to see His glory on full display! Circle of Faith Outreach Program- They are inviting you to support a meaningful event celebrating creativity and community at the Youth Fashion Explosion on May 10, 2025, from 4 pm - 6 pm., at 2150 Arbor Hall, Moraine Ohio 45439. This event aims to provide children a platform to express themselves through fashion while supporting local businesses and needy families. We will have food, entertainment, and fashion.
