Community/Evangelism Opportunities
ENGAGE: In the 4th century BC, the prophet Habakkuk spoke, "The earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the seas." (Habakkuk 2:14). We could rightly say, "The MIAMI VALLEY will be filled with the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the seas." This will happen in its fullness when Christ returns, but we should be filling it now with the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ, who "is the radiance of the glory of God", until that time. The Miami Valley is home to over 1.4 million people, 80% of whom are lost. These are our neighbors, our co-workers, our friends, our family! God is stirring the hearts of His people to engage the Miami Valley with the gospel. To date, a total of 217 individuals representing 15 churches in the Miami Valley have participated in Gospel Conversations Training. The Made to Multiply Network has a North American goal of seeing one million people trained in GCT in 2026. There are three locations for training on March 7 and one on March 14. This event is free, but does require a pre-registration. They are also inviting you to ENGAGE THE HARVEST (Prayer-walking and Gospel Sharing) on March 28 and April 4. Contact a regional hub leader to find out when the next Gospel Conversations Training is or schedule one for your church/group, to do that check out the website for the Made to Multiply Network or click this training link.
