Worship Events

Abide- Abide is a time when worship and prayer leaders’ partner with the Holy Spirit to provide a space and time for people to encounter God for a long stretch of time. Abide is two hours, and open throughout – meaning you can come and go as you please. Every Saturday from 7 to 9pm at Dayton SHOP (212 S. Ludlow St. Dayton, Ohio.)

The Burning Place Conference- The Burning Place Conference is a gathering for young adults who are hungry for more of God. Over two days, they will come together for worship, teaching, prayer, and community - all centered around one goal: becoming people who carry the fire of God into our everyday lives. This isn’t just an event to attend, it’s an invitation to be transformed. This will be held May 22nd and May 23rd at the Upper Room Worship Center(648 N. Hyatt St.Tipp City, OH 45371). D4G- Dayton4theGospel is inviting you to a night of worship to lift up the name of Jesus together. There will be music, prayer, and time to seek God as a family. On May 22nd at 7pm it will be a night to lay things down and lift Him up. If your craving real worship and community you are more than welcome to come out. Prayer Events

Dayton SHOP Lunchtime Prayer Sets- An open space of prayer and worship where you can come during your lunch break to experience the Lord. Let him into your work week by visiting the prayer room or watching the livestream on Facebook. Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from noon to 1pm at 212 S. Ludlow St Dayton, OH.

D4G- Dayton4theGospel will be hosting a night of prayer on May 21st at SHOP (212 S. Ludlow St Dayton, OH). This eventful night full of dynamic prayer will be at 7pm. They are calling the church of Dayton to come together for this time of boldness and power.

Discipleship Opportunities

Thrive Together Nights- Thrive Together is a holistic approach towards addressing poverty where participants feel empowered, experience community, and find hope. We offer job readiness and leadership training, opportunities to try new things, fun activities and field trips for the kids, and support and encouragement through community. Thrive Together meets at Fairhaven’s Centerville Campus(637 E. Whipp Rd Centerville, OH 45459) on Tuesdays from 5:45-8:00 PM for a home-cooked dinner and a time of community where we have fun learning new skills.

Childcare and children’s programs are available.

Serving/Outreach Opportunities

Circle of Faith Outreach Program- Is providing a food pantry every third Saturday of the month at 1800 W. Riverview Ave, Dayton, Ohio 45402, at 10 am - 12pm. They service all zip codes. For information contact 937-759-5655. 

Greater Dayton ReFirement Network- This network is about help retirees find solutions and friends who help them not just retire, but ReFire. This group host Bi-Annual large group gathering, monthly and regular gatherings, etc. ReFirement may be new to you and you want to get a better grip on it and how it applies to you. You are welcome to look at their website to get connected and meet with them to discuss the vision, mission, structure, and goals of ReFirement and how it applies to you.

World Vision Outreach- We are honored to support this citywide outreach effort serving the Dayton community. In partnership with World Vision, two semi loads of personal care items, diapers, clothing, household goods, food, and more will be distributed to individuals and families in need. If you or someone you know could benefit from these resources, we encourage you to attend and help spread the word. This event will be held on Saturday, May 23rd. Distribution will begin at 12:00 PM at Tabernacle Baptist Church (380 S Broadway St., Dayton, OH). Supplies will be available while they last.

Community/Evangelism Opportunities

GriefShare: This is a meeting based around being there for one another especially in a time of lost. It is hosted by New Hope Church but is meeting in the newly renovated East End Community Services building(624 Xenia Avenue, Dayton, OH 45410). At a weekly GriefShare meeting participants will view a video featuring respected counselors, teachers, and healthcare professionals on grief-related topics. After that is a small-group discussion will happen to allow people a time of sharing, support, and personal application of what they learned on the video. Group participants will receive a book ($10 purchase) to take home filled with valuable exercises for navigating their personal grieving process. These meetings will be every Thursday starting March 12th - June 4th from 6:30 to 8pm. To find out more click this information link.

Youth Dodgeball Tournament: Calling all middle and high school aged students! Join others for a fun afternoon of dodgeball at Ruskin Elementary School field (407 Ambrose Ct, Dayton, OH 45410, behind the school) on May 23rd at 1pm! Food and drinks will be provided. Youth Soccer Camp: New Hope Church is sponsoring a Soccer Camp on June 4-6 at Bomberger Park for boys and girls entering 4-6th grades. Registration is just $10 and the kids receive a shirt, soccer ball and water bottle in addition to instruction and lots of fun! Please register at https://registration.upward.org/UPW90371.
