Worship Events

Abide- Abide is a time when worship and prayer leaders’ partner with the Holy Spirit to provide a space and time for people to encounter God for a long stretch of time. Abide is two hours, and open throughout – meaning you can come and go as you please. Every Saturday from 7 to 9pm at Dayton SHOP (212 S. Ludlow St. Dayton, Ohio.)

Prayer Events

Dayton SHOP Lunchtime Prayer Sets- An open space of prayer and worship where you can come during your lunch break to experience the Lord. Let him into your work week by visiting the prayer room or watching the livestream on Facebook. Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from noon to 1pm at 212 S. Ludlow St Dayton, OH.

Networking Events/Gatherings

Inspire Leadership- Join business leaders from around the Miami Valley on December 17, 2025, at McGohan Brabender (3931 S Dixie Dr, Moraine, OH 45439) from 7:15am -8:30 am. Inspire Leadership is a network gathering for business leaders who want to meet other business leaders to learn from and grow together. Click HERE to register.

Kingdom Business Network- Kingdom Business Network (KBN) invites you to co-build the Kingdom for Kingdom Come in Your Business as it is in Heaven. They are offering a space for a variety of consistent relationships, broad connections, and gathering options so to be supported and encouraged to live out your faith at work. The Kingdom Business space is a new Kingdom Business after hours networking event that is starting Thursday November 20th, from 5-6:30pm at the The Cannery (434 E 3rd St, Dayton, OH 45402). Discipleship Opportunities

Thrive Together Nights- Thrive Together is a holistic approach towards addressing poverty where participants feel empowered, experience community, and find hope. We offer job readiness and leadership training, opportunities to try new things, fun activities and field trips for the kids, and support and encouragement through community.

Thrive Together meets at Fairhaven’s Centerville Campus (637 E. Whipp Rd Centerville, OH 45459) on Tuesdays from 5:45-8:00 PM for a home-cooked dinner and a time of community where we have fun learning new skills.

Childcare and children’s programs are available.

Serving/Outreach Opportunities

Circle of Faith Outreach Program- Is providing a food pantry every third Saturday of the month at 1800 W. Riverview Ave, Dayton, Ohio 45402, at 10 am - 12pm. They service all zip codes. For information contact 937-759-5655. 

Hope to Dream- United Way of the Greater Dayton Area is proud to partner with Morris Home and Secret Smiles to provide beds for children in need at their annual Hope to Dream event on December 13th at the UD Recplex (2 Evanston Ave, Dayton, OH 45409) at 9:45am.. Every year, at least 50 Children throughout Montgomery, Greene, and Preble counties receive a new bed of their own. They are currently looking for people with trucks to drive a couple beds to a home for a family after the event. They are asking that you bring a partner with you to help unload the beds at the home. The families are responsible for the assemble of the beds once they are dropped off. If are you interested in serving contact Laura Engel at laurae@dayton-unitedway.org.


Mental Health Events and Workshops

Marriage Counseling and Ministry Q&A-If you are a Christian and care about marriage and want to learn more about how to help marriages, then you are invited to a low-pressure Q & A session about Christian Marriage Counseling & Ministry.

These are the upcoming sessions:

  • Thursday, November 6th from Noon - 12:30 for Pastors & Church Leaders Only

  • Thursday, November 20th from Noon - 12:30 for the broader Christian Community


Thankful for Mommy-The Women's Center of Ohio is offering a space for moms for collaborative mental strengthening and help connecting to other resources. This will also include free lunch, a story time for children under 5, and even chair massages. This event will be Tuesday, November 18th at the Dayton Metro Library- Burkhardt Branch (4704 Burkhardt Ave. Dayton, OH 45403) from 10am-1pm. All moms are welcome whether you are an existing or expecting.

Workshops and Community Gathering

Cross Over Community Development- In partnership with Ohio University, COCD is launching a 15-week Community Health Worker Certificate Program from September 3 - December 10th, every Monday and Wednesday from 9:30am- 11:30am held at the COCD office (511 Hart Street, Dayton, OH, 45404). The program equips participants to become certified Community Health Workers—vital members of healthcare teams who connect individuals and families to essential services, helping to improve health outcomes.
