Declare is every church, for every community, for God’s glory.

The collective Church is an incredible source of hope and healing. We help local churches partner with one another, as well as nonprofit and community leaders to share God's love in tangible ways to bless lives and communities.

The Declare Community Fund exists so individuals and organizations can invest their financial resources to share God’s love by accelerating the impact of churches, nonprofits and collaborative efforts impacting lives and communities across the Miami Valley.

2025 FUND PRIORITIES

Funding for this round is being provided as part of Kettering Health’s Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP), developed based on the data gathered through their Community Health Needs Assessment. This assessment explores the factors contributing to health risks and outcomes, health disparities, community needs, and available resources. The priority areas of this year’s funding include:

  • Mental & Behavioral Health

  • Physical & Relational Wellbeing

In our previous rounds of funding, our average grant amount was approximately $2,500 and covered items such as new kitchen equipment for food relief outreach, software upgrades for church’s presentation system in order to do virtual services, needed repairs and maintenance to building structures, as well as other needs.

ADDITIONAL RESOURCE

Kettering Health and Declare have also partnered to develop a small group training resource, “Pathways to Mental Wellbeing: A Journey from Worry to Wellness”. This resource was developed by clinical professionals in partnership with local clergy and will help you and your congregation and community understand the impact and influence of stress, and how we can respond to experience the full life that God intends for us. Each video session has a corresponding discussion guide.

Organizations that apply for funding are encouraged to incorporate this free resource to increase the impact of their efforts. More information is available at the button below.

2020 TESTIMONIALS

“Thanks be to God for friends and the gracious support you have given, not only in 2020 but down through the years. We’ve had to make some deep adjustments and personal sacrifices but in spite of the struggles, the church’s doors have never closed.”

“We assisted a brother and sister who were forced to move from the house they rented in Trotwood, by September 30th, while the sister was recovering from knee replacement surgery. We prayed with them and offered our assistance to help the find a new home. God answered our prayers!! Within three weeks they found a new home to rent with the option to buy. The sister and brother are still rejoicing, and praising God for His goodness and mercy. To God be the Glory!!!”

“Your generous grant award has helped the media ministry of The Tabernacle Baptist Church continue to spread the gospel locally and globally. While Covid-19 has ravaged our communities and caused many churches to alter their manner of worship, because of your generosity we were able to not only survive but thrive. Since the launch of our media ministry we have reached over 500,000 people globally.  This is truly a testament of our faith and God’s divine favor.”
