The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May in the United States, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation, its leaders, and its citizens. This day was established by Congress in 1952 then signed into law. The day is designed for Americans to unite in prayer, seek guidance for leaders, and reflect on the nation's heritage. Locally this day will be observed in various locations and you are encouraged to join as you can. Check out some of the local gatherings HERE.
